Scope & Acceptance

These Terms apply to every visit to the Website and every order placed through it. By confirming an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you accept these Terms together with the prices, shipping costs, and delivery details shown at checkout. The version of the Terms published on the Website at the moment you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

Products & Availability

We do our best to display our products as clearly and accurately as possible, using photography, video, text, pricing, and delivery information. Despite our efforts, errors or omissions may occur, and we cannot guarantee that every detail is always complete or up to date.

Stock availability may also change between the moment you place an order and the moment we process it. If an item turns out to be unavailable, for example out of stock or no longer available in your size, we will contact you by email or phone. If we are unable to reach you, the order will be cancelled automatically, and no party will be entitled to claim compensation for the cancellation.

We are not liable for errors, omissions, or incompleteness in the display of products or during the ordering process.

Prices

All prices on the Website are in euros (€) and include Belgian VAT (21%). Shipping costs, when applicable, are shown separately at checkout and must be accepted before confirming your order.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, additional import duties and taxes may apply. These are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

Orders & Agreement

An agreement between you and AMANTE ANTWERP is formed at the moment you confirm your order on the Website, pay the full order amount, and provide all required delivery details. Every confirmed order is followed by an order confirmation email that includes the article details, price, and shipping rate. If you do not receive this confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us.

We reserve the right to limit quantities per order, to refuse orders that appear unusual or placed in bad faith, and to refuse orders from customers with whom there is an unresolved payment dispute.

Payment & Security

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Bancontact. When paying by card, you will be asked for the card number, its expiry date, and the CVC code. All card transactions are secured through 3D-Secure, a protocol developed by Visa and Mastercard.

Payments are processed via Stripe, and all data exchanged between the Website and the payment processor is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the industry standard for secure online transactions. We do not store card numbers or other payment information in our database.

Orders are shipped only after the full payment has been received. Any inaccuracies in your payment details must be reported to us immediately.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship from Belgium within the European Union. For orders to destinations outside the EU, please contact hello@amanteantwerp.com before placing your order. Every parcel includes a tracking number.

Orders placed Monday to Friday before 10:00 CET are handled the same week. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays are handled on the next business day. Delivery takes place within 7 working days after payment is received, to the address you provided at checkout. In practice, most orders are dispatched the day after purchase.

If we expect a delay or are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you by email or phone. You then have 7 days from that notification to cancel your order, in which case we will refund your payment within 10 days. No additional compensation can be claimed. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the parcel is delivered to the address you provided.

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without stating a reason. To exercise this right, inform us by email at hello@amanteantwerp.com within the 14-day period. You may use the model withdrawal form available on request, but you are free to use any other clear statement.

Once you have withdrawn, you must return the item or items within 14 days. Return shipping costs and risk are at your expense, and we strongly recommend a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit.

Refunds are issued within 10 days of receiving the returned items, provided they are in the same condition in which they were delivered. Taxes paid to third parties, such as customs duties outside the EU, are non-refundable.

Returns Procedure

To return an item, contact our customer service at hello@amanteantwerp.com using the return form available on the Website. Items must be returned in their original condition and complete, including the product, box, dust bag, wrapping paper, card, and any accessories. Testing is allowed, but only to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. No tape may be attached to the product or its packaging, and protective films should only be removed where strictly necessary to test the product.

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Returns should be sent to AMANTE ANTWERP, Berkenlaan 8, 2540 Hove, Belgium. Please enclose your name and address, and indicate whether you would like a refund, an exchange (subject to availability), or a voucher. Once your return is received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation email from customer service.

Legal Warranty

All our products come with the legal warranty of two years that applies under Belgian and EU consumer law. This means that for two years from delivery, you are entitled to a free repair, replacement, or refund if the product does not conform to what was agreed, for example if it is defective or does not match the description.

The legal warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to follow care instructions. To make a warranty claim, contact hello@amanteantwerp.com with your order number and a description (and photo) of the issue.

Complaint Policy

All complaints regarding visible defects or non-conformities must be sent by email to hello@amanteantwerp.com within 10 days of delivery. For hidden defects or hidden non-conformities, the complaint must be submitted within 14 days of discovering the issue, or the moment it should reasonably have been discovered.

Your email should include a clear and complete description of the complaint. We will respond within 10 or 14 days, depending on the nature of the issue.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that colours or finishes shown on the Website are true to life, as this depends in part on your screen and colour settings.

Force Majeure

In case of Force Majeure, our obligations are suspended. The agreement may, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by you or by us. Force Majeure includes war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockade, failure of electricity or telecommunications, natural disasters, and similar events beyond our reasonable control. We will always try to find a timely resolution.

Intellectual Property

All texts, comments, works, illustrations, and images reproduced on amanteantwerp.com are protected under Belgian, Benelux, and international intellectual property law. Only private, non-commercial use is permitted unless explicit written permission has been granted by AMANTE ANTWERP.

Any other use, including but not limited to the full or partial reproduction of our catalogue, is considered counterfeit and will be prosecuted in accordance with the applicable Intellectual Property Code.

Personal Data

Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please email us first at hello@amanteantwerp.com. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

If we are unable to find a solution together, as an EU consumer you have the right to submit your dispute to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Belgian consumers can also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur) at https://consumentenombudsdienst.be.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The agreement between AMANTE ANTWERP and the consumer, the use of this Website, and any relationship between AMANTE ANTWERP and third parties are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, division Antwerp, without prejudice to the mandatory protections afforded to consumers under the law of their country of residence.
