Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all users of the domain amanteantwerp.com (also ‘the website’). The terms and conditions will be valid for all your (“the consumer”) future transactions with AMANTEANTWERP.com by Ellen D’Hondt (see “The Company”) , hereafter stated as AMANTE ANTWERP. Any changes in these terms and conditions will be published on the website, with reference to the date of revising. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.

Offer
AMANTE ANTWERP is doing its utmost best to display all products on the site as clearly as possible, by using photos, videos, text, prices, delivery rates etc. However, errors may occur and AMANTE ANTWERP cannot guarantee all info is up to date. Errors may also occur when processing your order, therefore AMANTE ANTWERP cannot guarantee that all items included in the web shop are in stock at the time of your order. AMANTE ANTWERP is under no circumstances liable for any errors and/or incompleteness when displaying its products on the webshop or in respect of the order process. In the event that an item is unavailable for example it is out of stock or the size is not available, AMANTE ANTWERP will contact you by phone or by e-mail. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled and in that case no party will be entitled to claim any compensation due to the cancellation.
The Agreement
The agreement will be concluded at the time of the acceptance of the offer by the consumer and by fulfilling all requirements, such as payment of the full order amount and providing all delivery details. All orders placed on the website will be confirmed by email as confirmation of the agreement. This confirmation will include all information on the order, such as article, price, delivery rate etc. AMANTE ANTWERP reserves the right to limit the quantities of the products that we supply, and/or to refuse any order that is unusual or placed in bad faith. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse any order from a client with whom there is a dispute concerning the payment of a previous order.
Right of Withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw his order and can return the ordered product(s) within 14 days after reception of the goods by the consumer, without stating any reason. However the consumer will return the product(s) at his own risk and costs within 14 days after the order has been withdrawn and make sure that the product(s) is (are) duly packed to that effect. AMANTE ANTWERP will refund the payment within 10 days, subject to receiving the products in the same condition, as the one in which the product(s) was delivered to the consumer. Return will not be accepted and no repayment will be made if the product(s) is not returned in the said condition. No return will be possible during sales period and exchange will only be possible if an alternate choice is available.
Sales
AMANTE ANTWERP ships within the European Union. For orders outside the EU, please mail to hello@amanteantwerp.com. All packages contain a tracking number. Orders placed on Monday to Friday before 10 a.m. (PST) are handled during that week. Orders placed Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays, are handled on the first business day after. Shipping costs will be displayed at ordering moment and are therefore accepted by the customer, once the customer confirms the order. Orders are shipped from Belgium. AMANTE ANTWERP does not control any duties/taxes that may occur to the package. The customer will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary from country to country (outside Europe) so please contact the local customs office for further information.
Payment - Security
AMANTE ANTWERP accept VISA, MASTERCARD & BANCONTACT. When paying by card you will be asked for the card number, its period of validity and the CVC code. We use a security standard called 3D-Secure, developed by VISA and MASTERCARD. All information is encrypted using SSL encryption, which prevents unauthorized access to card details. We do not store card numbers after the transaction has been completed.
AMANTE ANTWERP use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders, by using Stripe payment service, which secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.
Prices
All prices mentioned on the website are in € (Euro) and VAT included. Shipment prices will be mentioned separately, if applicable.
Compliance and Warranty
AMANTE ANTWERP refers to article “Offer” and states that all products, subject of the order, will measure up to the specifications mentioned on the website to the best of AMANTE ANTWERP’ abilities. In case of any problems and/or quality issues, the consumer will only be entitled to claim a product as substitution of the defective product, under reservation of the provisions regarding AMANTE ANTWERP’ complaint policy.
Delivery and Implementation
AMANTE ANTWERP will deliver the ordered product asap, though within 7 working days after reception of your payment, on the delivery address as stated by the consumer. More often than not we will post your item the day after you purchase from the website. In case of delay of the delivery time or if we are not able to deliver the ordered product, we will send you a notification immediately either by email or phone. You will have the right to cancel your order within 7 days after our notification. In case of cancellation of your order in due time, AMANTE ANTWERP will refund your payment within 10 days without you being entitled to claim any other damages.
Payment
AMANTE ANTWERP will send your order only after the full amount of the order has been received. The consumer is obliged to report any inaccuracies in his payment details immediately.
Complaint Policy
All complaints regarding visible defects and non-conformities must be sent by email to hello@amanteantwerp.com within 10 days after delivery under penalty of lapsing of the claim. In case of hidden defects or hidden non-conformities any complaint must be formulated by email within 14 days after the problem has been detected or should have been detected under penalty of lapsing of the claim. This email must contain a clear and complete description of the complaint. AMANTE ANTWERP will respond to all complaints within 10 respectively 14 days depending on the nature of the problem. Note regarding colors and finish: AMANTE ANTWERP cannot guarantee that colors or finishing on the website will be true to life. This depends partly on the color settings or state of your computer and monitor.
Force majeure
In case of Force Majeure, AMANTE ANTWERP obligations will be suspended. The contract between the consumer and AMANTE ANTWERP can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by AMANTE ANTWERP. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Under such circumstances, AMANTE ANTWERP will attempt to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
Returns
For orders placed on the webshop, returns can be processed within 14 days of receiving the delivery. Please contact customer service or hello@amanteantwerp.com to return the item by using the return form. You can find the return form here. Return transport costs are at the expense of the customer; we highly recommend providing tracking on your parcel so that you may accurately locate your return. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in the post. Once we receive your return, you will receive a confirmation email from our customer service department. Parcels may be opened to test goods, but the testing of the goods may not go beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. No tape is to be attached to the product or the products packaging. Any protective films applied to the product should only be removed where strictly necessary to test it. For reasons of hygiene, we are unable to offer exchanges or vouchers on earrings. Once your return is received and inspected, should the customer not wish to replace the product, a voucher will be given instead. Taxes are non-refundable.
When you return your items to us, please ensure you enclose your name and address and whether you require a voucher or an exchange. Pack the items back in its original packaging and sent it back to: AMANTE ANTWERP, Berkenlaan 8, 2540 Hove, Belgium.
Note that we will only accept your return, if all items are returned in good condition and complete. Complete means containing all parts of the item, such as product(s), box, dust bag, wrapping paper, card etc.
Governing law
The agreement between AMANTE ANTWERP and the consumer, the use of the webshop and the relationship between AMANTE ANTWERP and any third parties will be governed by Belgian law. The courts of Antwerp, division Antwerp, will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under the agreement between AMANTE ANTWERP and the consumer, the use of the webshop and the relationship between AMANTE ANTWERP and any third parties.
Intellectual Property
All the texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the website amanteantwerp.com are reserved for the title of the royalty and intellectual document of title Benelux. For this reason and in accordance with the provisions of the Code of the Intellectual Property, only a private use is allowed unless special dispositions are previously made, following the code of the intellectual property. Any other use is constitutive of counterfeit and sanctioned with the Intellectual document of title except preliminary authorization of AMANTE ANTWERP. Any reproduction total or partial of the catalogue of AMANTE ANTWERP is strictly prohibited.
